Construction of the first Powersail
15m commenced on 10th May 2005 and the vessel was finally launched mid
April 2008. This vessel will be used as demonstrator and will be
available for prospective clients to sea trial on Auckland's magnificent
Hauraki Gulf. Photographs below show the history of the
construction with the most recent being at the top of this page.
The vessel has the following
changes from the original layout No 3. The mid ship cabin now features
a settee which can extend out to a double berth if required, allowing it
to be normally used as a TV/ Reading room/ Office with its fold down table.
We have modified the configuration of the King size stateroom’s en suite
with the addition of an extra entry so that it is now also directly accessible
from the main saloon for day use. We have also moved it’s shower to the
portside of the boat to provide a larger shower cubicle. In addition
we have added a full size pantry for food storage at the stern end of the
galley.
